This is when a customer purchases multiple items in the USA from various companies. Instead of shipping 3 different packages, USA Direct will consolidate all 3 packages into one box. Removing any excess packaging and making the box as small as possible, saving the customer even more money on international shipping costs.
We have a flat fee of NZ$7.00 per consolidated box.
Meaning if John has 6 separate boxes or packages arrive into USA Directs warehouse, we will charge NZ$42.00 total to transfer the goods, remove any excessive packaging and consolidate into 1 box.
Absolutely. By consolidating items into one box, this can save the customer up to 80% on their international shipping costs compared to what it would cost to send all the packages separately.
Yes we can remove the invoices from each package prior to shipping and send them to the customer at their cost. We have a commercial invoice generator that the customer can use to fill out their goods value and details and submit to us online. We will then send this to the international carrier.
This all depends on the value of the cargo and shipping. If the value of the cargo and international shipping costs combined are below NZ$1,000 then no duties or GST is owed. If the value of the cargo and international shipping costs are more than NZ$1,000 then yes, you will have to pay Duties and GST
Upon the shipments arrival into New Zealand, you will receive a call from NZ Customs and you can arrange the payment with them and they will release the goods for delivery to you.
You will need a NZ Customs code for cargo valued at over NZ$1,000 (cargo and shipping price combined). Please visit our How It Works Page for details and an Email address on where to obtain this.
Please Email a copy of it to us as we will need to provide it to the international carrier prior to shipping.
